New dumpling spot Jade Dumpling in Mandarin! We went today for lunch. Everything we tried was fantastic, especially the black truffle soup dumplings. They had a nice selection on the menu so we will definitely be back to try the other varieties (looking at you, chicken soup dumplings).

Finally managed to track down thetotspotjax near me. I love a good tot bowl and they did not disappoint! We got the BCCR and the OG Tot. It was much more food than we anticipated and it really hit the spot (no pun intended!)

We were in the area so we decided to stop by for lunch. We have only been for dinner (which was FANTASTIC), so we knew lunch would be a treat for us. I went with the Asado Bowl with shredded pork shoulder. It came with rice and datil black beans, which I didn't know I needed in my life until today.

Mr Snack and Jill got the Fish and Chips. I was very happy that he did because that was the other menu item that I was very interested in. I grabbed a bite and it was tender and flaky. The aïoli that came with the fish was just lovely.

By the end of the meal we were very happy we decided to stop in. This will definitely not be our last visit, especially since I've already seen that Thursday special of Wagyu pastrami 👀

Visited Brisky's BBQ in St Augustine last week on the way down to the St Augustine Car Museum. It was pretty solid! They had the best Mac and cheese I've had in a long while. I have been dreaming about it ever since 😍

I've been on a little hiatus while the universe repeatedly kicked me in the teeth, but I'm popping in to tell y'all about how good the new FATBOY FRIED RICE FOOD GROUP brick and mortar is!

We started off with the Chicken Lumpia, which were fantastic! I loved the smaller size of the lumpia because that instantly made the dish more shareable and I could choose how many pieces to eat.

Mr. Snack and Jill got the Pork Sisig rice bowl. From the first bite he was blown away! The meat was very tender and well seasoned, and the sauce really complimented the bowl.

I got the Chicken Teriyaki rice bowl. It is made with chicken thighs, which everyone knows is way more flavor. The chicken was cooked perfectly, had a fantastic taste, and was bite sized pieces so I didn't have to cut anything up for my tiny mouth.
