Here’s an unedited look behind the scenes.. kids talking, geese squawking.. and our preschooler infected us all this week so you get the babies heavy breathing as she tries to grab any goat kid that dares enter her zone of ear pulling

Our trip this weekend brought some exciting things to our herd 🎉

We are so excited to add this yearling buck out of Blissberry Oh Fudge & we get to name him! I think we’re going to follow that line & stick with an “Oh” name we’re open to suggestions 💡
Then some how 2 doelings fell on the trailer 🫣these girls are bringing heavyyy milk lines to our growing production herd 💪🏼 & will get proper introductions later on

Oh we’ve also added 2 cute Boer doelings and are excited to be offering full Boer kids for the next 4H season

If you’ve made it this far then you’ll be the first to know in order to keep our herd at manageable numbers we will be offering 4 does in milk to new barns in May. All these does will be participating in our yearly herd testing before leaving. Feel free to pm if you’d like more info

Milk sharing is in full swing!

As we continue to move towards a show/production herd we are contemplating using a lambar right from the start.
We would love to hear your pros & cons

Time is the biggest issue for us with work & 2 legged kids of our own it’s nice to be able to leave kids with their dams, but the damage the kids can do to udders is also a concern for us.
So please feel free to drop any words of wisdom as we are already planning our next kidding season 😅😅
