Fort Wayne Bistrot Crepes

Fort Wayne Bistrot is Fort Wayne’s original and only authentic French Crepe Cuisine specialist. Our 2 daughters wanted to do a Lemonade stand. The conversation went from lemonade to fine cuisine and our family decided to open a Crepe stand at the Farmer’s Market at Parkview Field. Margaux (then 15 ) and Liliana (then 10) learned how to make crepes and we had a great first year. We love sharing our

French heritage with clients. Now we live between Paris and Fort Wayne and hold our stand nearly every summer at the YLNI market on Barr Street. Our specialty is REAL French crepes. Sweet crepes are prepared to order and we use an authentic French vanilla batter, made from scratch. Our savoury crepes set us apart because our batter is made with real French Sarasin flour. It has a tangy bite that enhances the filling. Remi’s family is from Nice and their love of great cuisine and proximity to Italy gave rise to our Italian Crepe (the best of both worlds). Liliana and Margaux’s childhood favorite of chocolate and fresh berries are on the menu. Mom is, well, good ‘ole USA and loves to put bacon on everything. Our new helper, Amanda, invented the Johnny Appleseed goes to Paris (Apples, Brie, bacon, maple syrup.)--a fusion of FW and the City of Light.
