Back in April I said this page was changing. Here's what "changing" actually looks like.

I'm in East Tennessee now, helping build Beloved Roots Ranch, a healing retreat for veterans. Horses, nature, community, rest. That's the main work these days.

I still cook crawfish, just not for a living. Doing a boil for the ranch this weekend.

And I still write, including songs. And one, "Jeepin'," drops this Friday, May 22, on Spotify, Apple Music, and everywhere you listen. Pre-save here: ffm.to/zbdjpom

The next, "Heart of a Horse," lands in July with proceeds going to the ranch.

Update on events and crawfish for the weekend (possibly for the season). The bar that we lease space from has been repossessed by the owner of the property. This means that we cannot use the space for cooking in the near term.

Additionally, and sadly, our enclosed trailer that we use for storage and transporting supplies for catering events was stolen on Saturday so at the moment we cannot even move to a new location or take on catering events. This may be it. More news as we have it.
