Baba Java Coffee Specialty Coffee Roaster and Cafe We are a specialty roaster and cafe locate in the Chace Lake area of Hoover, AL.

Our goal is to not only provide the best coffee in town but to be a place where you feel welcome and at home. We will feature coffees from some great growing regions as well as the only place in town serving you coffee from the home of modern coffee roasting and processing, Yemen.

We're launching a new coffee today, and it's a special one!

Last year, some of our Baba Java team members spent a week in Colombia. They were introduced to Jorge who owns a generational farm with his wife Yalila. The couple has made a huge effort to elevate the quality of their coffee, and we are pleased to have purchased their first specialty-grade crop!

This is a very limited coffee and it's exclusive to Baba Java.

Please everyone take a moment of silence for our roaster Nicholas as he goes through the five stages of grief 😔

After many years of incredible service to our cafes, we have parted ways with our in-cafe roaster. Don't worry, we are still roasting all of our coffees ourselves, we've just moved our operations to our warehouse to offer more space to serve you at Hoover.

We can't wait to show you the final product of this space soon!

It's getting warm outside, which means it's shaken drink season!! Any of our lattes have the option of hot, iced, or shaken.

Shaken lattes are poured into the shaker over ice, and then served neat. The result is a creamy, frothy, cold drink with no ice in the cup! Give it a try!
