NAMI Citrus is extremely grateful to ALL who helped make our walk last night meaningful. The Citrus County School Board moved us inside to keep everyone safe and it was a magical evening. The sponsors and community resource partners, the attendees and fabulous volunteers. A ver special thank you to our guest speakers Mrs Cheryl Roessler who shared her family’s personal journey and encouraged us all to do better, to do more; and John Baxley who shared a past that has turned to Hope.
Thank you to Josh Wooten, our DJ Delightful Entertainment and those who made the singing of the National Anthem possible. So many organizations and people behind the scenes👏🏻
I thank our board members and NAMI members for pitching in with all that they could.
I want to shout out to our Walk Manager, Donna Bidlack, who is also NAMI’s program director. She took on this event and made it fantastic while juggling school, her own business, all things NAMI and a personal life.
