We would like to recognize our Employee of the Month… our Dad, Ernie Casillas! 😂💚
To be fair, we’re not sure Dad ever actually applied for this job. There was no interview, no application, and definitely no discussion about benefits… but somehow he shows up every day anyway. 😂
Since Heritage Market opened, Dad has become our unofficial errand runner, problem solver, kid helper and Chief Officer of “Dad, can you…” 😄
Need something picked up? Call Dad. Need something cleaned? Call Dad. Need help with the kids? Call Dad.😂
And somehow, no matter how many times a day we say, “Dad, can you…,” he keeps coming back!
All joking aside, we truly don’t know what we would do without him. He has been one of our biggest supporters from the very beginning and is always willing to drop what he’s doing to help us, take care of our kids, or make sure we have whatever we need.
We are so grateful that we get to have him here with us through all the busy, crazy, exhausting, and wonderful days of Heritage Market. Someday, we know these are the days we’ll look back on and wish we could have just one more of.
So instead of making him Employee of the Month just once, we decided to save ourselves some time and give him the title for all 12 months! 🏆😂

There’s no raise, no vacation time, and probably another errand waiting for you… but at least you get bragging rights all year long! 😂💚
