An end of an era. The food truck is done.
When I began this food truck journey, I had no idea where it would take me, how I’d sustain it, or even if making a living from it was possible. But one thing I did know: I never wanted to work for anyone else again.
I dreamed of running a pizza shop, serving the best pizza I could possibly make. Over the last eight years, I’ve perfected my recipes, sharpened my skills, and become one hell of a chef. This has been the most fun, the most challenging, and the most rewarding chapter of my life. Yet the food truck was never the end goal—it was a proof of concept. The concept worked. From one truck to two, and finally to owning my own brick-and-mortar location.
The brick-and-mortar shop has far surpassed my expectations. We’re putting up numbers I never imagined possible, and I couldn’t be happier. I honestly never thought it would be going this well so quickly. Its absolutely crushing it!!!
That said, an entrepreneur and a dreamer never stops dreaming. I have more goals to chase and more ventures I want to launch.(High Society Pizza 2.0?, wedding venue?)
I sold the food truck today to keep moving onward and upward. It has been one hell of a ride. I’ve met incredible people, traveled to beautiful places, served thousands of pizzas, and had a blast along the way.
I’m excited for this next chapter. I'm ready to focus more on the restaurant and spend more time with my family.
I'm extremely grateful for everyone who helped me reach this point. If are reading this, you are no doubt one of those people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
