Went to Rao’s for the first time Saturday, I have to say it’s probably the best coffee we have had in our area.

Tried the new Doxie Coffee on Lincoln Ave in Groves. As soon as I walked in, the coffee aroma welcomed me to the building. The inside is well done and appointed nicely.
Looked at the menu and they only have one size hot, 12oz and one size cold, 16 oz. I’m sure this keeps the overhead down, but I was a bit disappointed to not have a size choice.
Ordered a flat white hot; $6.02 seems a bit a steep in my opinion. Asked them to add the sugar, but they only had sweet and low, again disappointed.
I was underwhelmed by my coffee honestly. It was bitter with no finish at all. Didn’t taste any discernible notes. Very much like you get a Starbucks.
I will give them one more try; maybe it was a bad day or new Barista.
