After our regional recipe lab the Culinary Arts class was challenged to put a unique twist on classic regional recipes. All of our groups came up with creative twists on all of our recipes. 1st place was kitchen 4 with California roll sushi wraps. 2nd place was kitchen 3 with carnita nacho sombreros. 3rd place was kitchen 2 with Boston’s cream cheesecake pops. Great job to all of our groups. Thank you to our judges for coming to taste test!!! On to the next stop on our global journey……. EUROPE!!

Culinary Arts has spent the quarter exploring the regions of the United States 🇺🇸. Our regional staple lab went fantastic and as we made— Chicken and waffles, Eggs Benedict, Hawaiian Hulu Hulu chicken and Cobb salad, Carnita nachos, New Jesery Disco fries and Chocolate chip cookies!!!! Great job everyone!! Looking forward to the creativity of this class!

WHAT A YEAR!!!!!! This year has been the busiest yet and we are growing from here!!!
Special thanks to all the kiddos throughout the classes that helped with the NUMEROUS catering events we did this year. From the Market to Meal in Alley 1822, multiple banquets, family nights, staff meals and so much more!!! Some of these kiddos have been working hard throughout the Culinary pathway for years and we will miss what they have brought to it!
The 2025-2026 school year has been great from start to finish, and to sweeten the deal we got new stoves in 3/6 kitchens!! We are looking forward to seeing how much the Culinary program here are Greensburg Community High School can grow!!

This was the first year that we had a Capstone course & it was a learning experience for us all! The students cooked in more ways than one!
We have made all sorts of different foods as well as building the skills these kids will use in their lives for years to come. It has been a joy to see these kids grow throughout the FOUR years of high school. They have done amazing things and will change the world as they grow and become their own people.

Great job ladies!!!! Congratulations on graduation and your future!

This year the Principles kids really stepped it up!!! We had some amazing and creative breakfasts. 🥞🧇🍳The challenge was to make a 3/5 healthy breakfast. In Block 3 the Maple Eggy Sandwich won 🥓, honorable mention to the Italian Inspired biscuit cups with asparagus! Block 5 winners were Breakfast tacos with Homemade tortillas 🌮 Block 2 winners were deviled eggs, Banana Chocolate chip muffins and a tropical smoothie, GREAT job all around to this class. Honorable mention to both the crepe and the Asian inspired pancake with 4 different sauces! And finally the Block 4 winner was breakfast burritos 🌯 with homemade pico de gallo. It was a great year getting these kids introduced to the Culinary Arts pathway. Looking forward to an amazing future with all these little chefs to be!! 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳

WOW!!! WHAT A YEAR!!! Culinary kiddos returned after their culinary trip around the world! 🌎 We started the year touring the regions of the 🇺🇸 and made our way around the world! We hit Europe, Asia, South American and many more!! 🇧🇷🇳🇿🇬🇧🇫🇷🇩🇪🇯🇵🇮🇹🇹🇭🇰🇷🇨🇳🇻🇳🇺🇦🇸🇬🇦🇷From our trip to Jungle Jim’s in the fall to finish in the tour of the world. Th Nutrition classes competed in our Annual EPIC WRAP BATTLE. 🌯This years wins both took a sweet twist on the challenge presented to them. Block 7 had a Toasted S’mores 🔥Crepe while Block 8 won with a fruit filled chocolate crepe with walnuts and homemade chocolate drizzle!!
