We've been dreaming about what Gather could feel like after the sun goes down. A little candlelight, good music, a cocktail in hand, and an opportunity to slow down and create something beautiful.
And we're excited to bring that vision to life!
Join us for our first Gather After Dark, an intimate evening at Greenbank Farm where art, music, and a little indulgence come together.

As we are deep in planning for the cafe, my mind can’t help but wander. Dreaming of all the fun we will have together at Gather next fall. Pumpkins, dried flowers, many sweet treats and just the changing of the season. So much magic!

We’re starting to plan our next Gather event for November, and I’d love your input before we get too far.

We’re imagining an **Art by Candlelight** evening — low lights and candles, live music, cocktails and w**e, a few small dessert bites, and of course something creative to do.

A little cozy. A little elevated. A chance to slow down, make something, have a drink and spend an evening together.

So here’s what I’d really love to know:

**Would this be something you’d come to? And what would make it feel special enough to get you out on a November evening?**

Would you prefer:
• a menu of creative projects to choose from
• more of a gallery/lounge atmosphere with optional art

I took this photo the other evening and keep coming back to it. The flowers caught just enough light to make the whole room feel different.

It has me thinking about what Gather might feel like after dark. A few lamps on the tables, music in the background, something good to sip, and time to settle in with friends or meet someone new.

We’re dreaming up our first evening gathering at Greenbank Farm, and I’d love to hear from you: what would make you want to come spend an evening with us?

One of the things we are most excited about with Gather is creating more ways for local artists and makers to be part of what happens here.

Not simply selling work. But teaching. Experimenting. Collaborating. Hosting. Sharing process. Trying something new with people who may not think of themselves as “creative.”

We’re beginning to shape our fall and winter events now, but we’re also thinking much further ahead : workshops, meet-the-maker evenings, artist residencies, community projects, music, and creative experiences in the barn.

If you’re a local artist, maker, musician or creative and there’s something you’d love to explore with us, we would genuinely love to hear about it. We are looking at opportunities to host events in public spaces ( i.e. Greenbank Barn) while building our our physical location at the farm and we are interested in supporting artists with their events as a sponsor/planner/co-host as well. Send us a DM if you have feedback, ideas or requests and lets see how we can gather together and make something happen.

Gather should feel like a place where creativity belongs to the whole community and where the people making that creativity possible have a real seat at the table.

A big part of our “why” , why build this third space, why create Gather… is for and with amazing artists like AJane Glass Studio. The beauty and artistry in her work is unmissable. Her passion for teaching others to help grow curiousity and creativity is unmistakable.

We want to share space with , learn from and promote the amazing art and creativity we have all around us on Whidbey . We envision “meet the makers” series with fireside chats and guided art sessions, “artists in residence”sharing the art inside of Gather itself. So many more ways to collaborate , stay tuned!

A little bit of prep. A lot of excitement. And definitely some curiosity about what this weekend will bring.

We’ve been getting ready for the Harvest Faire at Greenbank Farm . We've been testing, making, planning, packing, and trying to create a small taste of what Gather will eventually become.

More than anything, we’re looking forward to meeting people. We expect it will be a little imperfect but guaranteed to be made and delivered with full hearts.

We want to hear what you love about Greenbank Farm, what kinds of experiences you’d like to see here, what would make you come back often, and what “gathering” means to you. Please do stop by.

Come meet us on **Saturday, September 12 at the Harvest Faire at Greenbank Farm.**

We’re excited to give you a little taste of what Gather will be and, just as importantly, hear what you hope it becomes.

Stop by, say hello, make a little community art with us, share your ideas, and help us begin shaping the experiences you’d love to see at Gather and at Greenbank Farm.

We’re calling this our founding season. This is the time before the doors officially open when Gather starts taking shape through pop-ups, conversations, creative experiences, and the people who choose to be part of it from the beginning.

We’d love for you to be one of them.
