Alma's North Arts is celebrating its Norwegian history with this beautiful folk art mural. The church was built by Norwegian immigrants in 1882. Church services were held in Norwegian for more than 20 years. In 1949 the congregation merged with Granite Falls Lutheran Church, Granite Falls MN. We would love to find more photos and stories from its long history including the Masonic Lodge and other religious denominations. If you have information, stop into the K K Berge Gallery and Gift or during our Saturday afternoon open hours.
