🍪✨ Before I reveal my results, I wanted to share all my other entries this year for the Arizona State Fair! ✨🍪

Along with my decorated sugar cookie sets, I had a few more goodies to enter, including a brand-new cookie I developed specifically for the fair! ❤️

🍯 Brown Butter Blue Corn Cookies with Mesquite Honey Glaze — entered in the Blue Ribbon Fair category! I had so much fun experimenting with blue corn, brown butter, and the warm, distinctive flavor of Arizona mesquite honey to create a cookie that celebrates the unique ingredients and flavors of our desert. 🌵

🍫 Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies — a classic favorite with an extra layer of flavor from brown butter.

❤️ Raspberry Linzer Cookies — delicate sandwich cookies with a sweet raspberry center.

🥜 Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars — a delicious combination of peanut butter and chocolate!

Every entry represents time, creativity, experimentation, and so much love for what I do. I'm especially excited to share the blue corn and mesquite honey cookie because developing a new recipe for the fair was such a fun challenge!

Now the countdown to the results is on! 🤞🏻🏆

🎡🍪 IT'S ARIZONA STATE FAIR DAY!! 🍪🎡

Today I'm heading to the Arizona State Fair to see how my entries did, and before I go, I finally have to share what I've been working on! ❤️

This year, I submitted two decorated sugar cookie sets, and they couldn't be more different!

🌵 One celebrates the Arizona desert — this set was created for the State of Wonder category, where I brought an Arizona desert landscape to life in puzzle form, with each cookie contributing to the bigger picture. 🌵🌅 sunset skies, rugged mountains, desert plants, and a turquoise river winding through the landscape.

🌙 The other takes a darker, celestial turn — My other set let me explore a completely different aesthetic, with celestial imagery, deep colors, and gold details. 🌙✨deep blues and greens, golden details, the sun and moon, stars, a butterfly, and little touches of magic.

Both sets took time, creativity, and a whole lot of piping! Decorated sugar cookies have been my bread and butter for years, and getting to bring new ideas to life is one of my favorite parts of what I do.

I think we all know this cookie set has some strong opinions! 😂

From the iconic apple and forest treeline to the Team Edward and Team Jacob designs, this Twilight-inspired set was so much fun to bring together. And that little touch of blood? 🩸A must-have!

I love getting to turn a favorite fandom into something you can actually eat. The little details are what make themed sets so special, and this one definitely has its own personality!

It's officially State Fair week around here! 🏆🍪

Things are getting VERY busy in the kitchen because my fair entries have to be turned in this Friday!

So while I'm over here measuring, mixing, baking, decorating, second-guessing myself, and probably making a ridiculous number of trips to the kitchen… 😂

I'll be sharing some behind-the-scenes of fair prep this week!
