What a way to start off 2026!! Thank you John and Ashley for having Voodoo N BBQ cater your special day!!! Congratulations we wish you the very very best!!!
We had smoked cream cheese topped with different toppings and smoked stuffed jalapeños for apps. Then for the main course we had, caesar salad with croutons, Voodoo's Tacos...... pulled smoked chicken and smoked chopped beef, with slaw, picked onions, cilantro, salsas and more toppings. Next we had smoked sliced sauage, my Granny's Beans and not to forget our Cajun Crack Corn!

Had an order for some ribs..... so I smoked them party style along with my pork butts for some pulled pork. Then I assembled some slider bundles with Hawaiian sweet rolls, Swiss, pickles, some picked onions i did and some homemade cranberry mustard, for some Xmas gifts.

The day turned out nice, family and friends stopped by and all shared a bite to eat. I didn't get pics of everything but we had a nice spread. Lots of left overs and a nice n quiet day today.

Happy Turkey Day Y'all..........

Pulled out my orange and cranberry brined bird, dried off, then reseasoned and put some bacon over her...... Now she is in the smoker and waiting for a maple kiss to be brushed all over.

Was asked to share something with the local church in town. So I cranked out a big pot of dirty rice for their potluck lunch.

Nothing better than firing up my smoker first thing on a beautiful fall morning!! The smoke is drifting and the neighbors will be smelling the oak and maple burning in the air.
Cooking 6 racks of ribs and some Mac n Cheese for a little gig. Then for myself, I threw in a pork butt to smoke up for some smothered pork over rice.....
Mmmmmm Mmmm, today will be full of good eats!!

I was supposed to go to the BSU game tonight and do a little tailgating this afternoon before the game. I had an emergency call and couldn't go...... So, since I said I was bringing sliders I made them up this morning and delivered them over to my friend.
Smoked tri-tip sliced thin with, stone ground mustard, Swiss, colby jack cheeses, pickles sriracha mayo and regular mayo. I also included some slaw to go on top if someone wants a little extra.
Mmmmm Mmmmm, they did look good!!

So my Boy #2 let me know that his beautiful bride was asking about ribs and meat sticks....... So why not....... I picked up 6 racks of ribs and a 15 lb pork butt. We ground the pork butt and mixed in all the goodies for habanero and Wisconsin maple syrup meat sticks. We also did the ribs party style and cut them up individually, seasoning them to perfection.
Fired up the smoker with oak and maple, then put down everything for a smoke bath. Invited my buddy Mac over and of course, he couldn't say no....... The highlight of my night was...... my beautiful granddaughter is my newest fan of my ribs!!!!

Family, friends and good food..... What more can you ask for!!!
