Happy Lunar New Year!
For Koreans, we eat rice cake soup on Lunar New Year. The circular rice cakes symbolize coins which represents wealth in the coming year.
So Cheers to wealth and happiness.
And this year is the year of the tiger-tigers symbolize strength, ambition, courage, and self-confidence. After the last few years I think we could all use a Tiger year.

새해 복 많이 받으세요! Happy Lunar New Year!
In Korean, we call this holiday Seollal. We celebrate by eating a traditional rice cake soup called Tteokguk. Tteok means rice cake and eating this symbolizes good luck and prosperity for the new year!
Seollal is one of the biggest holidays in Korea and is a time to visit family and celebrate our ancestors!
This is the only time it is acceptable to leave your fork (or chopsticks) in your food, because you are inviting your ancestors to eat with you.
