Lunch stop on a Saturday afternoon!

#1: COLD BEER!

FRIENDLY SERVICE but a few staff members give off the vibe that they want to be someplace other than work. The food came out quickly but definitely isn’t up to the standards that Anthony’s is known for. The cheese wasn’t even melted on my 12” Margarita Pie which is almost impossible in a coal fire oven. Presentation was good but the sauce and cheese were lacking.

Overall I have to give this experience a 5.2!!!!!

Will be back. I am sure that this is just an OK day. They have done much better in the past!

(recently under new ownership) is a new favorite when in the neighborhood. Atmosphere was warm and inviting while the decor was that of a classic family style Italian restaurant. Staff went above and beyond ensuring that our every need was fulfilled. Bus staff was quick to anticipate our needs when it came to drinks, extra plates, napkins and more.

Within a few minutes we had drinks delivered along with fresh bread and assorted spreads. Our waitress was thoroughly knowledgeable of the menu and allergy information and quickly entered our order for apps and main dishes. Kitchen staff was quick to prepare our feast with impeccable timing. Staff continued to buzz around the tables of this covid complient culinary nirvana ensuring all parties were treated like family and that any and all needs were attended to.

Every dish delivered to our party of 6 was an easy 10 out of 10. The staff clearly has the right stuff and delivers 100%.

Fratello Brick Oven is a direct hit, a perfect piece of culinary paradise nestled it the beautifully small town of Warwick, NY.

Let me just say that the decor of the is absolutely beautiful, reminiscent of a high end whiskey bar or cigar lounge. The drinks poured heavy and that is of course always a positive.

Unfortunately, that's all to report positive.

Two NY strips and a filet mignon had all been served grossly over cooked. While normally this would be grotesque enough, we had the great misfortune of being served absolutely everything else frozen.
Frozen vegetables, fries, rolls and shrimp.
Rolls were warm and hard on the outside while the centers proved to be absolutely cold. Broccoli spears were literally served crunchy do to the centers still being crystallized. The shrimp (absolutely in no way fresh) were served half cooked, rubbery, and drowning in canned francaise sauce thick enough you could walk across.

While the history behind the location (1872) is impressive, the passion and talent of staff is not. I rate the location a 2 out of 10 and hope that the majority of these problems lay solely with the pandemic but, the lack luster performance of staff and absolute dismal attention to detail make it hard to give a pass.
