Well, it finally happened. 💔

The set that I made for myself in 2011… ELEVEN YEARS ago… has delaminated. These were my favorites and got the most use so I’m sure that’s why it happened. So far it’s only on this Large and not the others in the set.

Unfortunately, back then, this nylon was the most food-safe product I could find. I no longer use it, though, in favor of a certified food-safe PUL which *should* be much sturdier. (Though time will tell!)

So if you end up in the same boat here in the near future, let me know so we can get you a new set in the works. Eleven years is a good run but it makes me sad to see them go.

A snap of a few of my favorite things, and two of the easiest zero waste swaps

The T/L/C’s are durable, easy to clean, and help keep those lidless containers going! (Rebel:T/L/C's) we’ve even got a few of the PUL free cotton culture covers for all your booch/kefir crafting needs. 💜

The eco-clean tabs are one tablet to 16 oz of water. You can reuse an old cleaner bottle and keep refilling it. I use the all purpose cleaner on everything in the shop, from the glass to the stainless steel.

Less waste, more joy. 🫶

Fallon, Nevada has a FABULOUS new business in town - Great Basin Apothecary and Herbal Cooperative!

Mandie is all about shopping small, local, and as sustainably as possible. She carries a variety of fantastic dried herbs from which she mixes some amazing tea blends plus a wide array of products to support mind, body, and soul wellness. She’s also striving to support local artists and crafters.

Luckily T/L/C’s fall into several of those categories! These are the first five sets she had in-shop and I believe there are only two left so more are coming soon… 🤩 🌱 ❤️

I’m always so excited when a previous customer places a second order! Sky bought a few TLC’s from me back in July of 2012. (ALMOST NINE YEARS AGO!!) And recently she decided she wanted more. I’m pretty sure this is the largest order I’ve ever put together for one person!

An XL, two 9x13s, four Larges, two Bread Pans, four Mediums, four Smalls, a Tiny, and a Teeny. (And I threw in a Tween to round it out.)

Hopefully the cute coffee print complements her kitchen decor!

I love knowing that these will still be going strong a decade down the road! Washable and reusable for the win!!
