Four-year-old Macey received her diagnosis of hypoplastic left heart syndrome before birth. She was transported to Children’s shortly after birth and received a heart transplant at only 2 months old. She loves being a big sister, playing soccer and going to the beach. 🩷
Five-year-old Briella has a rare genetic condition that led to congenital heart disease and had her first open-heart surgery at only 5 days old and another at age 3. Today, she is a happy kindergartner who loves music, dancing and sharing her beautiful smile. 💜
Two-year-old Damien was born prematurely when doctors discovered a serious heart condition. He has since undergone two open-heart surgeries and 11 heart catheterizations, with another surgery ahead. He’s a happy little boy with high energy and a love for snacks and apple juice.❤️
Twelve-year-old James was born with six congenital heart defects and has undergone six open-heart surgeries and multiple heart procedures. While more surgeries may be ahead, he continues to thrive with his care team and support of his heart community. 💙
Two-year-old Harrison was diagnosed before birth with multiple heart conditions. He underwent two surgeries before he was 6 weeks old and relies on a pacemaker for every heartbeat. With another surgery ahead, Harrison is a happy little boy who loves swimming, his dog and his big brother. 💛
