There are a lot of coffee shops out there and they are great. So, why did our little cottage Makery decide to put coffee in a can?

The answer is actually pretty simple...
Because life is busy and we like to keep up with the trends.

Over the years we've watched moms juggling kids, teachers racing to school, nurses heading into another long shift, farmers leaving before sunrise, and people who just needed a little something to get them through the day. Not everyone has time to wait in a drive-thru or stop for a handcrafted latte.

We wanted to create something that still felt special. We started with real espresso, added quality ingredients, and flavors that tell a story, but in a grab-and-go can you can throw in your bag, your cooler, or your cup holder.

Every flavor has a little piece of us in it. Some are inspired by family memories, some by Southern traditions, and some by the people who helped build Pearl into what it is today.

We didn't come up with coffee in a can. It was a simple TikTok find, and we thought β€˜hmm’ that’s neat, and nobody in Douglas does these canned drinks.

We created it because we wanted to make good coffee more convenient without sacrificing the heart behind it.

So whether you're headed to work, the ball field, school drop-off, or just hiding in your car for five minutes of peace, (we see you πŸ˜…). We’ve got your coffee ready.

Thank you for supporting another crazy idea from our little bakery. We can't wait for you to taste what we've been working so hard on. πŸ€β˜•

There is a post circulating about Pearl Bakery. The person who posted it is absolutely entitled to their opinion and frustration. Pearl Bakery is a flawed system sometimes... don't we all wish we had it figured out like Chick-fil-A?! πŸ˜…

While I'd love to say, "You win some, you lose some," and move on, it's simply not that easy because I do care. I am a real human, and I make real mistakes. I have to put a lot of trust in strangers (employees) to get it right because this is not a one-man operation, and sometimes they mess up.

I've done my part in making things right with this individual, and I will always try to go above and beyond if I'm at fault. Believe it or not, I strive to get it right and sometimes fall short.
This message isn't for pity or praise, just a simple reminder to everyone: if your feelings are hurt, reach out. If I don't get it right, make contact. I have pretty thick skin and can handle criticism and failure.

I am aware of the post that was made. Thanks to my cheerleaders who believe in what we do and love us. Thank you for having my back, even on our bad days!οΏΌ
