Road trips with kids do not have to be survival mode.

I used to dread them. Now they are genuinely some of our favorite family memories. And the difference? A few simple changes to how I planned them.

Here's what actually works:
• Leave at the right time
• Plan stops worth stopping for
• Set up the car the night before
• Give yourself a buffer

I’ve been sitting with this night ever since I left. 🤍

Becoming Her was something I didn’t know I needed until I was standing in the middle of it.

I walked into A Gallery not knowing what to expect and walked out feeling like something in me had shifted. The kind of shift that doesn’t have a clean explanation but you just know.

Pampered. Inspired. Empowered. Every single woman in that room felt it.

The red carpet. The rosé. The art. DJ Smoove keeping the energy exactly right. The speeches that had the whole room still and the conversations that went deeper than small talk before we even knew each other’s names.

The vendors showed up and showed OUT. Every detail of that night had a woman’s fingerprints on it and it showed. 💛

To Millcreek City Lifestyle for building a space like this. To every woman who was in that room with me thank you for reminding me what real community feels like.

You are not behind. You are becoming. And becoming is the most powerful thing a woman can be. 🕯️

I also think it’s really important that we teach our children the meaning behind our holidays and expose them to traditions and celebrations from other cultures too. Knowledge and education create understanding, empathy, and connection 🤍

There are so many fun things happening around Salt Lake and the mountains this Memorial Day weekend, but also some really meaningful ways to slow down and remember what the holiday is truly about 🇺🇸

You know that moment when you finally get the hotel room looking nice… and two minutes later there’s wet swimsuits everywhere, goldfish crackers in the bed, and tiny shoes all over the floor? 😅

That’s family travel.

I used to put so much pressure on trips needing to go perfectly to feel worth the money and effort. Now I just want us to actually enjoy being together ✈️🤍

The biggest thing I’ve learned?
Kids don’t need a perfect trip. They need a mom who isn’t stressed the whole time.
