On the 23rd and 24th of October, we celebrated held a Covid safe Fall Feastival.🍁🍂
The hearty veggie and beef sloppy joes were a hit! As was the live entertainment provided by Mike Norby's guitar and vocal stylings again this year. We missed 2020 with Mike and Bear performing, so 2021's scaled down but fun gathering was a welcome change for everyone.
On Sunday, all the remaining food and goodies 😋🥧🍔found a home in numerous tummies.
🍁On the 31st, Cheryl Semain's dog, Angel, had the best doggie costume. She needs to come by to pick up Angel's prize!

We hope to be able to have a Covid safe Thanksgiving as well.

Some people's children aught to learn to ask nicely, to have empathy, to stop stealing, to stop lieing, to not have favorites, to not rule by intimidating those weaker than they perceive themselves to be, to be less judgemental of others, to be more polite, to ask questions instead of assuming, to have gratitude for all of those who voluntarily care for other's property carefully for the sake of their fellow tenants, to be less suspicious of others' motives, to learn the cultural backgrounds of others and their history, to take gossip with a grain of salt...and so on...Some people's mothers may not be so proud, if they only knew.

Trying to be mindful that although we're each unique, we're all of us threads in the Fabric of Humankind. Our patch in the quilt of this world is also part of the Tapestry of the Known Universe. Feel free to share about your thread If you wish.
