Serviceberry season is nearly here – and we’re honored to gather around it once again.

Join us for the 5th Annual Serviceberry Feast, hosted alongside Robby Astrove of Fruit Forward Orchards and Jess Pfeffer of Jess Pfeffer Holistic Event Planning. This intimate evening brings together chefs, growers, cocktails, mocktails, and a multi-course meal centered around one of Georgia’s most beloved native fruits.

More than just a dinner, the evening is a celebration of seasonality, community, and the people who help bring these ingredients to the table. Proceeds from ticket sales will support the future planting of a public serviceberry orchard for our local community.

We’d love to share the table with you.

It’s a special one, y’all — the biannual Cotton Fair is back in Gay, Georgia, a beloved community tradition for over 50 years. Each spring and fall, the festival brings together an incredible group of artisans, craftspeople, and antique vendors across the historic Longleaf grounds.

You can find Captain T serving up fried catfish with all the best fixins’ all weekend long – rain or shine.

Join us on Wednesday, April 22 as we welcome Howard of to the table.

Through the seasons, this series brings a different farmer into focus – shaping a family-style dinner around what they harvest and the ingredients we’re most inspired by. These evenings are a chance to gather, connect, and share in the stories behind the food.

Ellijay Mushrooms is a family-owned, sustainable farm dedicated to cultivating a range of exceptional varieties – from shiitake and blue oyster to lion’s mane. Howard will be joining us to share his crop, along with a closer look into the work behind it.

The evening will include a welcome cocktail and a family-style meal we’re excited to share.

We’re so excited to introduce our NEW Farmer Dinner Series at The Deer & The Dove.

Each month, we’ll welcome a different farmer to the table, highlighting what they harvest and creating a family-style dinner inspired by the season’s best ingredients. These evenings are meant to celebrate not just the food, but the people and the land behind it.

Join us for a night of connection – to each other, to our community, and to the growers who nourish us. Each dinner will include a welcome cocktail by Matt Watkins and a family-style meal that we cannot wait to share with you.
