šŸ”„ Annual Fire Pit Maintenance: Keep Your HPC Fire Feature Performing Its Best

šŸ”„ HPCFire.com

An HPC Fire InspiredĀ® fire feature is designed to deliver years of outdoor enjoyment. A little routine maintenance can help protect your investment, extend its life, and support reliable performance season after season.

An annual inspection is a great opportunity to clean the fire feature, evaluate key components, and identify potential issues before they become bigger problems.

šŸ”„ Annual Maintenance Checklist

Inspect the Fire Feature
Look for visible damage, corrosion, loose components, standing water, soot, leaves, insects, or other debris.

Clean the Burner Area
Remove debris and inspect the burner, burner pan, and accessible burner openings. Never enlarge or modify burner ports.

Check Your Fire Media
Inspect fire glass, lava rock, ceramic media, or logs for debris, deterioration, or improper placement. Too muchā€”or incorrectly positionedā€”media can affect airflow, ignition, and flame performance.

Inspect the Ignition System
Check accessible electrodes, wiring, connectors, and components for dirt, moisture, corrosion, or damage.

Manage Moisture
Inspect for standing water, corrosion, blocked drainage paths, and damaged covers.

Check the Surrounding Area
Keep ventilation openings and required clearances free of leaves, vegetation, furniture, and combustible materials.

Watch Flame Performance
Difficulty lighting, changing flame height, unstable flames, repeated shutdowns, or other performance changes deserve further investigation.

šŸ”„ HPC Safety Tip: Gas pressure testing, leak testing, regulator evaluation, electrical work, and repairs should be performed by a qualified professional. Never use an open flame to check for gas leaks.

A little maintenance goes a long way. Inspect annually, keep it clean, protect it from the elements, and address changes in performance promptly.

šŸ”„šŸ° Bringing the Heat to the Ohio Renaissance Festival!

HPC Fire InspiredĀ® is proud to partner with the Ohio Renaissance Festival to help keep festival guests warm as the cool fall evenings settle in. šŸ‚šŸ”„

Thereā€™s something pretty fitting about gathering around a fire while stepping back into the Renaissanceā€”although weā€™re pretty sure their fire technology wasnā€™t quite this advanced. šŸ˜‚āš”ļø

Whether itā€™s a backyard, restaurant patio, resort, entertainment venueā€”or even a Renaissance villageā€”HPC Fire brings people together and keeps the experience going long after the temperature drops.

šŸ”„ Warmth for crisp fall evenings
šŸ° A little modern fire technology in an old-world setting
šŸ‚ More reasons to stay, gather, and enjoy the night

Different century. Same reason to gather around the fire. šŸ”„

šŸ”„ Whatā€™s the Occasion? LIFE. šŸ”„

We spend a lot of time waiting for a reason to celebrate.

A birthday. A holiday. A big win. A special weekend.

But sometimes the best reason is simply life itself.

Light the fire. Pour the drink. Invite the friends. Pull up another chair. Stay outside a little longer. Laugh a little louder. Make the memory.

Because you donā€™t need a special occasion to enjoy the people and moments that matter most.

Whatā€™s the occasion? Life. šŸ”„

And life looks pretty good around an HPC Fire InspiredĀ® fire.

Find Your Fire. Enjoy the Moment.
