Been kind of busy these past 3 months, but excited to finally announce my new job as Pastry Chef at the new Purple Pig in Oakbrook! Actually it’s been pure chaos, opening a full restaurant with an attached bakery and gelato program is not for the sane, my momentum rarely slows down and I’m always hungry for the next opportunity. I couldn’t be happier to lead a pastry team and work alongside some of the most talented and supportive chefs I know.

My team is small but mighty and we create everything from scratch and laugh together as we break in this new project! And yes, of course I have still been accepting orders on my website and making kolaczki on the side. 😵‍💫

Maybe I’m a little insane? I’m crazy about baking and if you haven’t figured that out by now, go ahead and hop on that train 🚂 Another announcement coming soon… stay tuned!

When I traveled to Krakow last spring, my first stop was at Dobra Paczkarnia for a true authentic Paczki. I ate so many paczki that week, it was everything I thought it would be and more 💕
