We’ve been so proud to highlight Kristin’s Clothes Line in our “Support Local” shop section this month! With over 30 years of sewing experience, Kristin has been serving the Farmville, VA and surrounding areas for nearly 4 years, creating handmade, one-of-a-kind clothing and home goods.

Kristin loves giving vintage linens new life, upcycling them into beautiful, functional pieces. Every item is thoughtfully handcrafted to ensure quality for every customer.

As we wrap up Women’s History Month, we’re shining the spotlight on the heart behind The Cumberland Coffee Co.—our owner, Tina 🤍☕

Why did you create The Cumberland Coffee Co.?
The shop was created to fill something missing in Cumberland—a true home away from home. A cozy place to unplug, enjoy great coffee, share meaningful conversations, and feel like you belong. That vision still guides everything we do.

Tina’s go-to order:
Any mocha! Seriously—plain, peppermint, pumpkin, Dubai Chocolate, coconut… ALL the mochas 🍫☕

Favorite treat:
The Chocolate Chip Cookie (heated is elite 🍪🔥)

Best part of owning the shop:
The people. Cumberland’s sense of community shines through every visit—locals and out‑of‑towners alike feel it the moment they walk in

When not behind the bar:
Traveling around the world ✈️ or tending to her farm and animals 🐓🦚🦆

Something customers might not know:
We serve so much more than coffee—and yes, those farm‑fresh chicken and duck eggs in the shop? They come straight from Tina’s farm 🥚🌾
