Born from the ashes of Columbus' infamous Outland Nightclub version 1.0, Church picked up steam at High Five during the year+ that Outland was closed prior to reopening in it's second location. In October 2005 Church moved into Outland's new space and became the Saturday anchor of the club's weekly lineup. Goth night occupying several spaces with varying frequencies including High Five (the space that helped raise it to it's original strength, later called Circus), Victorian Village landmark The Shrunken Head, Skully's Music Diner (for special events & live shows), Rock mega-club Ace Of Cups, Spacebar and now the beautifully renovated and constantly evolving Summit Music Hall. It continues now twice a month - generally on 2nd Saturdays @ Summit Music Hall and 4th Fridays @ Spacebar, where it still boasts the best Goth, Industrial, EBM, Aggro, Snthpop, Electro, 80s, Shoegaze, and Dark Alternative music brought to the dancefloor by djs broken boy, Church creator dj kevykev and special guests. Church opens it's doors at 10pm on event nights (check flyers for details). Cover also varies per venue/event and 18 & up's are always welcome. Prepare for confession.
