Goodness! Yesterday we did not know what to expect when we departed CB for the short ride to set up for Creekside Farm Brewery's Oktoberfest. We still packed for a crowd, and so glad that we did. Upon arrival.....insane! If Perry and Betsy, Owners of Creekside, had not saved us a couple of spots, we would not have had a place to park!
What a wonderful day! And great seeing so many friends. We have attached a pic of Frau Angel, Frau Shelby, And Frau Blaire! They were SO READY for Oktoberfest at Creekside!
A shout out to Maria Cheryl's ! It's customary for food vendors to share. Some of the best Tacos we have ever enjoyed!
Creekside's Oktoberfest continues today from 2PM to 5PM! "Lost Lederhosen', German Party Band brings you the best of Oktoberfest sounds. The Creekside Food Court will be open, serving deliciousness (Have you tried their Pit Beef?) Don't miss this!

We are proud to announce that our Crab Cake Base is now being offered at Ingleside Winery & Vineyards in Oak Grove, VA, Garner's Produce and Market, Warsaw, VA, and Market on Main in Colonial Beach. A pound of Fresh Crab Meat, Fresh Chopped Parsley, finely crushed Saltines, your favorite seafood seasoning, and 2/3rd cup of Denson's Crab Cake Base will make 4 to 5 of the same delicious Crab Cakes that so many of you have enjoyed. Exact recipe on our QR code.
And, we need your help! We are currently looking for outlets throughout the Northern Neck, Middle Peninsula, Richmond, and Fredericksburg. And...we are offering free delivery to get us 'Jump Started'. If you have a favorite seafood market, specialty market, or grocery that you would like to see Denson's Crab Cake Base on their shelf, please tell them about us. We will soon be hitting the pavement and making in person visits.

Tomorrow, we will be at Creekside Farm Brewery for a fun Oktoberfest . We begin serving at 4PM. Live Music begins at 5PM. And amazing Craft B**r All Day! We stepped it up a notch. We ordered Brats from Usinger's of Wisconsin, complimented with Imported German Sauerkraut. Rocky made some German Potato Salad. And of course, there has to be some Beef, so look for that 'Signature' Denson's Roast Beef Sandwich. And of Course....Denson's Crab Cake and Crab Dip with a Pretzel Rod.

All you need is a pound of Fresh Crab Meat, fresh parsley, finely crushed saltines, a sprinkle of your favorite seafood seasoning, and 2/3 Cups of Denson's Crab Cake Base.

Denson's Crab Cake Base Update.
We have had some questions about where our base can be purchased, and shipping information. Here is where we are at this point. The first batch was bottled last Thursday, September 24th, so we really have not gotten our feet wet, yet. Our very first case was delivered to the Ingleside Vineyards & Winery Gift Shop on Saturday. We are very pleased that Ingleside sold out of all 12 bottles by Sunday. We are delivering another case of 12 to them Tomorrow. Also tomorrow, we are delivering cases to two other locations and will make a post revealing the locations. We don't want to announce until they are on the shelves. We have also reached out to several Markets throughout the NNK, Fredericksburg, and RVA, and are waiting to hear back. Some markets do not have emails, so we may need to visit them personally. If you have a favorite market, please let us know, or give them our contact info. As for shipping, we are diligently working on this. Hopefully, before the middle of October, we will have an ordering portal populated on our Website. Between catering and our new Crab Cake Base venture, we have a lot going on. Thank you for your patience and Stay Tuned! We truly appreciate everyone's support! Once we get a good grasp on this, it will be a lot smoother. Promise.

On Saturday, October 17th, at the Ice House CB , we will, for the 12th consecutive year, host our 'Bivalves for Bo***es' event supporting the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation. This is a important event that is very near and dear to us....And we are sure that the same goes for many of you. Nearly everyone has been exposed, in some way, or form to this disease. We wanted to get this out on our social media as soon as we could. We have a 'Run/Walk, Live Music, Contests, and food and drink. If you just have 'A Bit of time' that you can join us, it would be greatly appreciated. If you can't make it and would like to make a donation to the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation or VBCF, please see the attached flyer.

Today, after Countless Oyster Crawls (including the inaugural), Estate Club Pickups, Music under the Stars, Souper Sundays, Acoustic Sundays, Running the Vines, Gourmet Lunches, and other events, including the Inaugural Crab Crawl, we close the curtain on what has been a very personal and important part of our business. Ingleside Vineyards & Winery was the First to use our event catering and had been nothing less than wind beneath our wings since. Rocky, Blaire, and Staff are forever Grateful for their kindness and confidence towards what we truly enjoy doing.....Serving good food and interacting with so many wonderful people that enjoy this special Winery. Chris , Doug, and their amazing staff have always been so very warm and welcoming. Thank you!
