An evening to remember!

Mehendi Night at UAF was a grand success - a celebration filled with the soothing aroma of chai, the crunch of samosas, laughter all around, and the swirl of creativity from every henna cone! 💛

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by, got their hands beautifully adorned, and added their sparkle to the evening - you made the event come alive! 😊

An extra shoutout to our amazing faculty and student artists for their stunning designs, and to our incredible volunteers for brewing warmth, serving smiles, and keeping the energy high all night long.

Some glimpses from the farewell party of Dr. Subhrabrata Dev. Dr. Dev has been an integral part of UAF and a very active member of Namaste India from 2018-2024. He has served UAF first as a post doctoral research fellow and then as a research assistant professor in the Department of Civil, Geological and Environmental Engineering during this time. His illustrious journey at UAF comes to an end as he joins University of Alaska, Anchorage as a tenure track assistant professor. We wish him good luck for his future endeavors!
We all will miss you Nibedita di (We will mention about her soon in a separate post) and Dev da especially the ginger chicken you used to make.
