So sorry that we haven't reached out to many of you who follow us. We sincerely DO appreciate your support and interest in Grandpa's Gourmet Pies. We have been in transition from no longer opening our doors on the weekend for walk-in traffic to (in process) setting up a website that will allow on-line ordering in preparation for the upcoming holiday period. ALSO, and this is very cool, now that we are taking pre-orders we have flipped the routine.

Now we prepare all varieties of our unbaked pies ahead of time, flash-freeze them, vacuum seal them and then back into our freezers (we have 4) they go until you call and place an order. Now you don't have to order days ahead of time. You call, we walk back to the freezer, pull-out the pies you want, take off the wrapping and straight into the oven they go for 1hr and 20 min. Fresh baked. We let them rest so the filling sets and then package them up so you can take them home.

When you pre-order you pay up front and then when it is time to pickup...just text us that you are here and we will bring your order out to you. You don't even need to get out of the car. We can usually turn an order around in 12-24 hrs! This last weekend we turned 3 orders for pies around in the same day! We understand that life is crazy....we will do what we can to smooth out your to do list.

Got to run. Today we go pick up baking materials. 25lbs of flour, 15 dozen eggs and more. We are in business to do business and make the best pies (and bundt cakes) you have ever eaten!

Order today pickup tonight or Saturday night. Grandpa's Gourmet Pies, LLC & April's Sweets will be bringing a nice variety of pies and zucchini bread, fudge and even lemon-blueberry mini loaves to two upcoming events.

Tonight, Thursday evening:
Cocoa Village Riverfront Market 4pm-6pm. April's Sweets booth.

Saturday evening
Moonlight Harvest Market, Titusville/PSJ at the Thomas Statham Center. 6pm-10pm.

Please stop by and look over what we have OR call/text an order in to: 321.376.6707 and we can bake it up for you Saturday morning and deliver it to you fresh at the Harvest Market that night.

Now that we have moved to Bake to Order you can call/text an order in anytime and we will bake it up fresh for you. Note: We are unable to offer our pecan pies at this time due to the Florida Cottage Food laws that limit our selling pies that are shelf stable only. Though they are not specific on whether that relates to pecan pies they 'imply' that pecan pies are not acceptable unless we are a commercial kitchen. (We may do that at some point, but for now we will focus on our delicious fruit pies and cocktail inspired pies.

We will be at this event this Saturday evening. If you would like to stop by and pick up a pie just let us know ahead of time and we will bake what you order (pre-pay needed) on Saturday and bring it that night. Fresh, Fast and delicious.

Our new FB cover page encapsulates our move to our new Bake to Order Format. This will partner with our new website with online ordering that will be coming out very soon. Until that time simply call or text your order in anytime and we can turn it around within 24 hrs an sometimes sooner than that. The change over starts this week.

Soon our freezers will be stocked ahead of time with all our homemade pies ready to just be pulled out and baked!
Now you don't have to worry that you have to have your order in by a particular time. (Unless you have an order of more than 3 pies then we would need 24-48 hrs.)

This week we start filling our freezers with flash frozen, unbaked, vacuum sealed pies. Then when we get an order we simply pull your order and put it straight into the oven. It takes about an hour and 20 minutes to bake a frozen pie and 30-40 minutes to cool. Our packaging with all appropriate labels are already done ahead of time. Fresh, fast and delicious!
