Our first feature for "Meet Kidwell" should be a familar face to many of you. She has been with us for a while, and she was just on stage this past Sunday singing for you all.

Meet Jaelyn Morgan!
She is a 19-year-old sophomore in college from Paradise. Jaelyn mostly works downstairs in Lower Kidwell Park or in Upper Kidwell Park as a one-on-one aide. She also helps tremendously with our music needs during special events. Finally, Jaelyn helps with many admin tasks, such as scheduling staff for childcare. Thank you for all that you do, Jaelyn!

*What do you want to be when you "grow up"? *
-When I grow up I want to be a pediatric therapist

*Tell us something unique about yourself. *
-Something unique about myself is that I love to sing and play guitar and a little piano here and there

*What is your favorite thing about Kidwell Park? *
-My favorite thing about Kidwell Park is getting to know each of the kids and watching them grow! I love seeing their little personalities shine and getting to be someone they’re excited to see each week.

Greetings from Kidwell!

The nature of our jobs keeps us slightly hidden from the congregation on Sundays, and we want you all to know a little bit about all of the PHENOMENAL young people that are helping to care for our church's children.

So, we're starting a weekly series "Meet Kidwell". Each week, we will highlight a different person and share some fun facts and a photo.

Below is the calendar schedule for Kidwell this Fall. This Sunday, August 30th, Kidwell opens at 9:45.

*On the days that it says "Kidwell opens at 9:45", you will sign it at the welcome desk and then bring your children directly to their Kidwell rooms.

As sad as we are to see your precious new 6th graders “leave” Kidwell Park, we know that the Lord has all sorts of plans for them and that He will be their shepherd and guide them through this next part of their journey!

We thank you for sharing your children with us and allowing us to help build their foundation of faith. We have been blessed by your kids and by you.

As we were making our previous post about our new 6th graders...we want to share some vintage photos of some of our kids who have moved up/on these past couple of years. These kids stuck with us through a very...interesting time...in our world. They stuck with Kidwell and sang, played bells, played, listened, and learned about God masked and outside. Enjoy these memories parents!

This Sunday, August 16, our amazing NEW 6th graders will be joining Youth Group during the 10:00 service! No longer will you need to sign your child in, but you will still need to pick them up! The Youth Room 015 is located downstairs inside Fellowship Hall.

This also means that starting this Sunday, and for the next few years, your Jr. High student will start service with you in the Sanctuary and will be dismissed with the Jr. High group after worship. On Communion Sundays, the Jr. High kids stay in the Sanctuary for the entire service.

This coming Sunday, August 9, Kidwell will begin the promotional process of moving kids to a new stage or room in Kidwell!

We will begin the move-up process with the little ones. If your student will begin first grade this fall, they will move to the upstairs Kidwell rooms this Sunday.

We are holding on to our graduated fifth graders for one more week as they will move downstairs to Youth NEXT Sunday, August 16.
