I’ve put so much love into creating a warm, colorful, and welcoming space where friends and families can gather, enjoy delicious food, and experience Brazilian hospitality. 🌿🇧🇷

Today, October 9, is not just my birthday… it’s the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in my life and the story of Lili’s Brazilian Steakhouse! 🎂🥩✨

What started as a dream has grown into something beyond what I could have imagined.

Behind these doors are years of hard work, challenges, courage, faith, determination, and, most importantly, LOVE! ❤️

Every corner of this restaurant carries a piece of my heart, my Brazilian roots, and my dream of bringing people together through delicious food, culture, and hospitality.

My beautiful community, we are SO close. 🥹❤️ This week is one of the biggest weeks in the history of Lili’s, and I need just a little time to get everything—and everyone—ready for what’s coming.

We will be CLOSED TODAY, Tuesday, October 6, and TOMORROW, Wednesday, October 7.

Thursday, October 8 we will open for a PRIVATE BUSINESS NETWORKING & APPRECIATION EVENING only — a special night for the businesses, vendors, friends and people who have helped us bring this new home to life. ❤️🙏🏾

This Friday, October 9 at 6 PM, we officially open the doors to Lili’s Brazilian Steakhouse and begin our full Brazilian Steakhouse experience! 🥩🔥🇧🇷

After all the dreaming, building, painting, problem-solving, long days and very short nights 😂… we are almost here. And knowing that we are already 80% booked means more to me than I can say. Thank you, Chico! ❤️

Today I want to say a very special THANK YOU to the California Restaurant Foundation. 🥹❤️

Building and growing a small restaurant is a beautiful journey, but it also comes with challenges, sacrifices, long days and moments when support can make an enormous difference.

The support I received from the California Restaurant Foundation helped me continue moving forward with my dream and with this next chapter of Lili’s Brazilian Steakhouse. 🇧🇷🥩❤️

I wanted to make this video because behind every restaurant are real people, real dreams and an entire community of people and organizations helping those dreams survive and grow.

To everyone at the California Restaurant Foundation: thank you for believing in small restaurant owners like me. Thank you for investing in our dreams, our employees and the communities we serve. 🙏🏽❤️

BUILDING LILI’S 🇧🇷 — It takes a community ❤️💪🏽

Moving an entire restaurant is NO joke! 😂📦🚚 And this chapter reminded me again that Lili’s is not being built by me alone — there are so many wonderful people helping behind the scenes.

A very special THANK YOU to Jesse and JM Services. ❤️💪🏽 Jesse has been one of the strongest and most helpful parts of this project. After we moved everything we needed into our new home, he helped me tackle the not-so-glamorous part — clearing out, hauling and taking to the dump everything we no longer needed. Jesse, THANK YOU for your hard work, patience and muscle! 😂💪🏽🙏🏽❤️

And a HUGE thank-you to Penske! 🚚❤️ Renting a commercial truck with a lift was surprisingly easy, incredibly helpful and very affordable. And an extra-special thank-you to Shawn, who coordinated everything and even arranged to bring the truck from Sacramento to Chico for us! 🥹🙏🏽 That made this move so much easier.

And because apparently I can make friends anywhere 😂, we even met the crew from Butte Strong Hauling at the dump! 💪🏽😂 What could have been just another exhausting dump run turned into another fun memory from this crazy journey.

This is the side of opening a restaurant you don’t always see — moving, lifting, cleaning, hauling, fixing, organizing…and a LOT of trips back and forth! 😂

But every truckload means we’re one step closer. 🇧🇷❤️

WE’RE MOVING! 🥹🇧🇷🌿🥩

What a journey this has been.

Our little restaurant in Downtown Chico became so much more than a place to eat. It became a place where friendships were made, stories were shared, celebrations happened, and our Chico community welcomed Brazilian food—and me—with so much love. ❤️

Seeing the sweet messages written on our windows made me emotional. Thank you, Downtown Chico, for being the place where this dream began.

But this is not goodbye… we’re growing! 🌱✨
