🚗🏍️ Rebellion Car, Truck & Bike Show is back!
For the past two years, you’ve seen the Kristen’s Kitchen food truck out at this show serving everyone up — but this year is going to look a little different! Since we sold our food truck, unfortunately we won’t be there cooking this time around, but you KNOW we couldn’t miss the fun!
Kristen’s Kitchen will still be there supporting the event, and we’ve been given a very important job… we get to help decide the winners of the Halloween Costume Contest! 🎃👻
So bring out those cool cars, trucks and bikes, put together your best Halloween costumes, and come spend the day with us!
📅 October 24, 2026
⏰ 9 AM – 5 PM
📍 Pocahontas State Park
10301 State Park Rd., Chesterfield, VA
We’d love to see some of our Kristen’s Kitchen family out there! And since we’re judging those costumes… y’all better bring your A-game. 😂
We can’t wait to see everyone! ❤️

🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT — MEET TAMMY! 🌟
This one is extra special because Tammy isn’t just one of my managers — she’s family. ❤️
We’ve been friends for about 4–5 years, and over those years she has become one of the people I trust most in my life and my business.
Back in the food truck days, I was very much a solo worker. It was pretty much just me, Rob and the kids doing everything, and I wasn’t used to having anyone outside of our little family working alongside us. Tammy kept offering to help, and eventually I let her in.
My version of “training” was basically throwing her straight into the fire. 😂 Hundreds of dinners in just a few hours — and she ROCKED it. She’s been by my side ever since.
Today, Tammy is my only manager outside of Rob and our son. She is the absolute BEST at making sure our kitchen is stocked, prepped, organized and ready to roll every day. She sees what needs to be done and gets it done, and I truly don’t know what I’d do without her.
When we’re not at Kristen’s Kitchen, you can usually find us around a pool table. We play 8-ball and 9-ball and are currently trying to make our way to Vegas this summer! We want the win, of course… but let’s be real, we could use the vacation too. 😂✈️
A few Tammy essentials:
🍌☕ Banana water or coffee
☕🍨 Affogatos — our favorite treat to share
🎱 Pool, 📚 reading , collecting 💕
🐶 Clover — our puppy that we “share custody” of 😂
❤️ Friend, manager & family
And Tammy, this last part is just for you. ❤️
I hope you know how much I love and appreciate you. You believed in Kristen’s Kitchen before there were four walls, and you’ve been beside me through so many stages of this crazy dream. You’ve worked hard for this place, supported me when I needed it and have been there through so much of this journey.
I love you, Tammy, and I appreciate you more than you know. ❤️

***Tuesday afternoon edit **** professional help is here send us all the good vibes and prayers he can fix it 🙏 🙏

*** Not fixed yet 😕 but hopeful to have the part by Friday ** send us love and patience

Well… it’s been one of THOSE weekends at Kristen’s Kitchen!
I haven’t even had a chance to read through all of your sweet comments yet because we’ve been a little busy over here… and now our line refrigerator is officially BROKE broke. 🤦‍♀️
As you can see, Rob gave it his best shot, but even he has officially admitted defeat.
We ARE open today, but our kitchen is going to be running a little differently. We’ll be making lots of trips to the walk-in for anything we normally keep cold on the line, so ticket times may be a little longer than usual.
Please be patient with us today , we promise we’re moving as fast as we can! ❤️
Never a dull moment owning a restaurant!

🚨🚨 IMPORTANT WARNING — PLEASE READ 🚨🚨

We need to clear something up because this has now actually happened to one of our customers.

KRISTEN’S KITCHEN DOES NOT CURRENTLY SELL MERCHANDISE ONLINE.

There are people posting links in our comments and tagging our customers claiming to sell Kristen’s Kitchen shirts and merchandise. One of our customers actually ordered from one of these links and DID receive a real shirt with our name/design on it — but it did NOT come from us.

We have absolutely NO affiliation with these sellers. We do not know who is making the merchandise, where the money is going, or who is profiting from it.

Most importantly: purchasing from these links does NOT support Kristen’s Kitchen in any way.

Please DO NOT purchase Kristen’s Kitchen merchandise from any link posted in our comments, replies, or tags unless it is posted DIRECTLY by our official Kristen’s Kitchen page.

We absolutely want to offer official Kristen’s Kitchen merch in the future ❤️ — but when we do, you will hear it directly from US!

Please share this so we can protect our customers and our little business. ❤️

💕 WHY WE LOVE KRISTEN’S WEDNESDAY 💕
First, I owe a few of you an apology! ❤️
A few people reached out saying they left us a Google review but didn’t see their name on our giveaway wheel. I went back and double—and triple—checked, and unfortunately, I still can’t see those reviews on our Google page. 😔 It looks like Google may have filtered or withheld some reviews, and I’m so sorry if yours was one of them! We would NEVER intentionally leave anyone out.
So… I think that calls for ANOTHER GIVEAWAY! 🎉
This time, we’re doing something completely different:
💕 Why We Love Kristen’s Wednesday 💕
Tell us in the comments ONE thing you love about Kristen’s Kitchen!
🍔 Your favorite menu item
🥰 A favorite memory with us
❤️ One of our amazing staff members
🍽️ Something you love about the restaurant
😂 Or just something that makes you smile when you come see us!
Every comment counts as an entry, and we’ll randomly choose one person to win a $25 Kristen’s Kitchen gift card! 🎁 I will have Ryan do the random pick from the comments
And seriously—thank you for every review, every comment, every visit, and every bit of love you guys continue to show our little family restaurant. We appreciate you more than you know. ❤️

Will draw the winner Friday afternoon 💕
