Meet Alex!

A longtime regular here at The Hobbyist, Alex stepped behind the bar this year to officially join our team. He brings his cool, calm personality behind the bar as he slings espresso and keeps things running smoothly.

A Charlotte native and familiar face in the local industry, Alex loves spending time outdoors, going for a run, and supporting the local restaurant scene by trying new b**rs, w**es, and cocktails.

Our Mission: To Highlight Appalachia as an ode to classic and heritage flavors and textures. To push the limits of heirloom recipes and bring to light the past while highlighting the intention and creativity of our ancestors.

Sassafras Hojicha
-Sarsaparilla syrup, spices, sorghum, bitters.

Harvest Moon Latte
-Pumpkin, mulling spices, maple syrup.

Caramelized Banana Matcha
-Methodical Matcha, banana, house made caramel sauce, cinnamon, black walnut cold foam.

Spiced Cherry Mont Blanc
