After a long and hard 4 months, Souper Chef is working on bringing lunch locally but this time without the food truck.

If things go well, Souper Chef will be offering lunch for takeout as well as sit down dinning. Monday through Friday.

This particular location will also allow for a Sunday brunch that will be reminiscent of the old days at The Round Bistro where I offer both a brunch buffet and my Southern Fried Chicken as well as an Al a Carte menu.

This partnership will make catering a whole lot more accessible for those with catering needs.

Down but never out. I’ll keep “trucking” even without a truck!

Preparing a catering for tomorrow night for a very dedicated client who is in need to feed 50 appetizers for a presentation.

Spanish shrimp cocktail for starters.

On to the Greek Pasta Salad before settling down for the night.

Spanakopita, Chicken Souvlaki and antipasto in the morning.

Well folks. This is not the post I wanted to have to make.

Due to the unexpected and overwhelming cost of repairs to the food trailer, Souper Chef will no longer be able to continue running the food truck as part of its brand.

This has been a very difficult business decision but we have come to terms with a very understanding seller who will take possession of the trailer and help with the recoup of repair costs.

We wish him the best in getting the trailer into working order and hope he can find another buyer with a great concept. This is a great layout of a kitchen but just needs more bandaids than Souper Chef has in the bag.

This is not the end but just a welcoming to “new beginnings”. Stay tuned as we hope to find a location for a ghost kitchen to offer some of you all’s favorites through food delivery services and pickup takeout.

With the truck not running Souper Chef needs to use up product before it will spoil. Chef Jack made a fresh batch of She Crab that will be available tonight from 4:00-9:30 at his commissary kitchen in Estia’s Kouzina located at 609 N. Main Street in Belmont. Come in and enjoy the best Greek food around as well as the She Crab.

Oh!!! Chocolate chip eggrolls while they last as well.

Weather is perfect for some outside dining as well.
