This Valentine’s Day, I’m offering Dinner for Two drop-off experiences along with chocolate-covered strawberries by the dozen—perfect for an intimate night in or a thoughtful gift.

I also want to share something personal with my community for the first time. Recently, I experienced a house fire that resulted in the loss of my home and everything in it. While it’s been an incredibly challenging season, returning to the kitchen and continuing to create through food has been a major part of my rebuilding and healing.

BIG NEWS!!!!!!

First and foremost I thank God for giving me the talent and opportunity to live in my purpose. I’m beyond excited to share that I won Best Savory Dish at Taste of Black Charleston with my Red Rice Arancini topped with Brûléed Pimento Cheese and Creole Aioli!

This dish is a true fusion of Southern soul and Italian tradition—taking Charleston-style red rice, rolling it into crispy, golden arancini, then elevating it with a rich, smoky brûléed pimento cheese topping. Finished with a bold, zesty Creole aioli, every bite is a perfect balance of Southern comfort and Italian technique.

Winning with this dish is so special because it represents everything I love about cooking—honoring my Southern roots while bringing in the depth and finesse of Italian cuisine.

And the celebration doesn’t stop here! I also participated in the Black Expo South this past weekend. So if you had the opportunity to attend, you know it was a blast. Be on the lookout for the next pop up so you can experience the flavors for yourself!
