Introducing the Fig Malai Series - our softest summer daydream ✨
“Malai” is cream: rich, silky, nostalgic. The kind of word that feels like slow afternoons lounging in the heat, fruits plates on the table, something sweet being made in the kitchen, and summer stretching out just a little longer
We took that feeling and made it three ways:
☁️ Iced Fig Malai, as a latte or a matcha latte, topped with a smooth saffron fig cold foam and a dehydrated fig slice
☕️ Hot Fig Latte, steamed to perfection

Loudoun Pride, you were pure joy 🌈✨

Between iced lattes in hand, rainbows everywhere, drag performances, dressed-up pups, and families celebrating together, this was one of those days that reminded us why local Pride events matter so much.

Pride is community. It’s neighbors showing up for neighbors. It’s seeing our farmers market regulars, meeting new faces, keeping everyone caffeinated, and watching Loudoun come alive with love, color, and so much energy.

We’re so grateful KhoKafe got to be a tiny part of keeping the celebration going - one iced latte, matcha, and chai at a time 🫶🏽

Coffee at the function just makes sense ✨

This past Sunday, KhoKafe popped up at the Latin Coffee Party at Kick Axe DC with PerreoO Therapy,
and it felt like the exact kind of crossover we love: coffee, perreo, community, culture, and a room full of people choosing good energy in every form.

Different backgrounds, different dance moves, same cafecito-fueled energy.

For the dancers, the non-drinkers, the “one more song” people, and anyone who believes coffee belongs outside the cafe, we’ll see you on the dance floor.

The kind of wedding where every detail felt like a love letter 🤍

We got to charge up the baraat with caffeinated drinks, serve fresh espresso, hand-whisked matcha, and layer the bride and grooms favorite drinks for their guests celebrating in the most beautiful desi wedding fits.
