Happy Cinnamon Bun Day! 🇸🇪 Back in 1999 Sweden invented Kanelbullens Dag to honor their love of these tasty buns as an integral part of fika. Over 7 million buns are eaten in Sweden alone on this day! Of course, we had to celebrate this here in NC with a cozy, rainy day cinnamon bun fika of our own. ☔️🫖

This Friday, September 18, we’re bringing our small batch Swedish buns to 𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐜𝐚𝐟𝐞 for a very special pop-up drop.

If you haven’t met the Orange Cardabun yet, think of it as the pastry twin to Sweet Talk’s Spiced Orange Latte. While the latte balances freshly squeezed orange juice, warm cardamom, and bright zest in the cup, our buns weave the same citrus-and-spice paring through buttery, twisted layers, topped with an orange glaze.

They were practically made to share a counter.

We added Michigan to the Fika flavor map! 🧤A little behind the scenes fact about me is that when I am not baking, I work in marketing!

Recently I was in Michigan for an automotive client conference that my company planned and executed. Naturally, I couldn’t travel without a bag full of Cardabuns! 🍊
