Buying bread in Germany is so superior to anything I've seen in the US. Anywhere can have fresh loaves available of all flavors and sizes but how many places have automatic bread slicers with 3 different options for thickness preferences? What a busy mother might not have time for in the kitchen, she can do right in the store in a couple of seconds. AND you can bag it all up without touching each slice?? Incredible.

Fresh avocado is so mouth watering when you add sprinkled salt and pepper and a splash of lemon juice to liven up the flavors. It pairs with so many great meals!!

Another delicious, filling dinner.
Oven baked lemon pepper/old bay salmon alongside carrots and broccoli, and some homemade garlic pepper mashed potatoes! So simple, hardly any prep required, and quick to the table.

The Bristol Cafe and Catering of Statesville, NC was an incredible experience. From meeting one of the amazing owners who consistently checked on us, to enjoying some of the most delicious homemade meals. Everyone at our table absolutely loved it! Aside from mashed sweet potatoes with black beans, and sautéed broccoli, tonight we had chicken frillers wrapped in hickory smoked bacon, crisped in the air fryer!

A late oven baked dinner tonight, but a filling one! We've got lemon pepper and garlic salmon, salt and pepper broccoli, and sweet potato with cinnamon sugar and drizzled honey!

The dawgs know what's up with these savory beef zucchini boats!

Hollow them out but leave edges for the "boat" or the meat will spill out while baking

Precook your scrambled beef or turkey in your preferred seasoning. Remember to sautee those onions and garlic first. Scoop that into your boats and top with your fav cheese. Bake between 425-475 degrees and broil on low for a couple minutes at the end!
