Have you tried our Tlayuda

The tlayuda is a historic Oaxacan staple, evolving from pre-Hispanic origins as portable, nourishing food for farmers using large corn tortillas, gradually incorporating Spanish influences like meats and cheeses after the conquest, and transforming into the iconic “Mexican pizza” known today for its crispy-chewy texture and layers of beans, quesillo, and various toppings, a dish recognized as cultural heritage. Its name stems from Nahuatl, meaning “something to be spread out,” reflecting its use as an edible utensil.
