Then & Now — Birch Bay, 1963 🌊

We recently came across this incredible footage from 1963, and right there… is our building.

For over 100 years, this space has been part of Birch Bay’s story — watching tides change, families gather, and memories being made.

Today, we’re proud to continue that tradition with fresh food, great drinks, and a place to slow down by the water.

Next time you visit, just know — you’re sitting in a piece of history.

You are welcome to park in any of the WorldMark parking areas, not just the section shown in the photo above.

We cover the parking and outside community fees, so please feel free to park wherever is convenient.

Almost 100 years ago, people were already gathering on this same beach in Birch Bay.

Look closely at the far right of this photo — you can see a small building.
That’s where Bay Breeze stands today.

Our building has been part of this shoreline since the 1920s.
Lately, we’ve been filling the restaurant with jazz from the 1920s and 1930s — the same era this photo was taken.

Good food, classic drinks, and the same view people enjoyed nearly a century ago.

Some things in Birch Bay never change.
