The farmstand will be OPEN this weekend...well, at least Friday and Sunday. Looks like Saturday may be wet.

I will keep an eye on the weather. Either way, if there's something you'd like to swing by and pickup Saturday, just let me know and I can bag it up and leave it for you in the stand.

There's some new goodies this weekend - oatmeal cream pies & cookie dippers - and an old favorite is back - chocolate dipped candied oranges 😋

Does anyone play American Mahjong? There is free open play tonight 6-8 at the Lee County Public Library You don't have to be good (goodness knows we are NOT! 😆), just need to know at least some rules of gameplay. If you have a 2026 card, that would be great, but I believe they have some as well.

If you don't know and would like to learn, I highly recommend taking a Mahj 101 class with Lady Bird Mahj . They have a space is Sumter but also travel for classes in the surrounding area.

With the Holiday weekend, Ive decided there will be no traditional farmstand this week. Plants are still available.

My shelf at Hand & Harvest Market is stocked with my farmstand goodies (baking mixes, pickle kits, vanilla, books, spices, etc). There's also some chocolate dipped treats 😋

FREE Vegetable Plants - I have tomato, pepper, and luffa plants still available. They are growing out of their pots and its hard to keep them watered enough. Just come and grab what you need.

All other flowers and herbs are now $1 for a 4" pot and $2.50 for rolls (which have at least 5 plants in them)

Plants are out for sale - in the stand and on the shelves. $2 for 4" pots and $5 for plant rolls (at least 5 plants on each).

Farmstand Update

The stand will only be open on Sunday (May 17) 9am-7:30pm this week. Baby Nosh will be graduating, and I will be a bit too busy to prepare for the stand before then. There will be fresh bread, cookies, chocolate treats, and more.

And if you are out and about in Sumter, check out The Fuzzy Duck Coffee LLC who carries my treats every Friday and Saturday.
