Thank you to Temple B’nai Israel in Easton, MD for one of our largest catering jobs yesterday, filling more than 200 deli orders for the Easton community and surrounding areas. The orders collectively included more than 200 pounds of sliced meats, more than 25 gallons of soup, and more than 50 loaves of bread, among many other items. My staff did a tremendous job in the ex*****on of what needed to be done. The event was almost flawless during its 6 hour length. Thank you again to B’nai Israel for asking us to be a part of it.

For our newest addition to our “Jews that are famous” walls, we went local and added the Gelof brothers, from right here in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware! Zack is the starting third baseman/left fielder for Major League Baseball’s Oakland Athletics (now playing in Sacramento until their move to Las Vegas), for whom he hit 22 home runs this past season, despite missing a month due to injury. Younger brother Jake plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers, AA affiliate, the Tulsa Drillers. He led the league this past season with 34 home runs. Parents Adam and Kelly ( you’ve seen her commercials for Tunnell & Raysor) are Rehoboth Beach attorneys. A wonderful family, Jewish and local ! Come look at the Gelof brothers and eat a nice meal !

Thank you to the sold out crowd, 75 of you, who came to the Bay Forest clubhouse last night for Rosenfeld’s sandwiches, sides, and desserts, and a 90 minute presentation about Hi**er and my family’s personal Holocaust journey.
