We were all set for our health department inspection!!!

Then someone in a position waaaaay above my paygrade decided we now need yet
ANOTHER FIRE BARRIER!!!

This building has had cifee shoos and nail salons but now as we are days away from opening!!!
All the sudden we need to build a fire barrier!!

No worries!!! We are gonna do what they (he) asks so 5 more days guys you can see we had to stack all the tables and chairs bring back in the tools and lots of sheet rock. (But its getting done)

Our final inspection is this week and the big one (the health department) is Thursday the 8th !!

Granted we've done everything asked of us and followed all the "CODES" I wont presume ANYTHING .. so im asking for good thoughts and vibes on these 2 final inspections.. once those are done and passed THE SAVORY CANTINA WILL BE READY FOR THE OPENING..

This is one ive been thinking about doing for a very long time!!

I used the same peppers (and a few more HOT ones :) that i make my salsa with , dehydrated them and made a seasoning!!! (Its AWESOME) i've been at work in my kitchen. Feels good to be at it again.

My burger weighs 3/4 of a lb and its STUFFED!! Our Burritos weigh 2 lbs and they're NOT FILLED WITH RICE.. im bringing real California style street food and I dont make ANYTHING less than cantina style food. Very much like the very food trucks that inspired The Savory Cantina and my mother..

I look forward to our doors FINALLY getting open.
