Today, Deckhand had the incredible honor of receiving a Certificate of Appreciation from RRISD. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to support and mentor the bright young minds of our community, offering them their first steps into the workforce. 🥹

Thank you, RRISD, for entrusting us with such talented, curious, and innovative students. We’re constantly inspired by their energy, ideas, and drive—and truly, we learn just as much from them as they do from us. ✨

Today, we donated all of the remaining food from our “Pay it forward” food purchases from amazing customers over the month of March. We had about $500 worth of mixed items remaining unclaimed by patrons in need, and we decided to donate the food to the Round Rock Area Serving Center and their volunteers.

The round rock serving center is a saving grace for so many people who are struggling. Between rental assistance, clothes, food and job location opportunities these volunteers work relentlessly to support our community without asking for anything in return.

Thank you to these wonderful people and YOU for helping make this gesture of kindness happen.
If you know any organization that could benefit from next month’s food donation, or know someone in need who needs a hot meal, please reach out to me directly - Chrissy Bucker 🖤 let’s let May touch more people and make sure nobody is left hungry.
