Our Dear Facebook Friends,
It is bittersweet to share that Nicky & Smitty’s will be transitioning to new ownership after 25 wonderful years of serving our community.

Becky’s former students—now married—have purchased the restaurant, and beginning Sunday, March 1st, Joe and Becky officially hand over the keys.

Since 2001, it has been our absolute honor to serve the Aurora community. What began as a dream grew into something far greater than we ever imagined because of you—our loyal guests, employees, friends, and neighbors. Every meal shared, every conversation held, and every smile across the counter has meant more to us than words can express.

This decision was not made lightly. It comes after much reflection and heartfelt consideration.

We will always treasure the memories, experiences, and relationships built within these walls. Thank you for welcoming us into your lives and allowing us to be part of your traditions for the past twenty-five years. Your support has truly been a blessing.

As we step into this new chapter, we are excited for the future of Nicky & Smitty’s in the hands of Antony and Sarah. We hope you will join us in welcoming them as they begin their journey as restaurant owners.

Before we say goodbye, we would love the opportunity to serve you one more time Fri. or Sat.— the way we always have, with food made from the heart.
