This weekend at Espressions, the tables were full and so were our hearts.

Mahjong tiles clacking. Journals open. Pipe cleaners turned into masterpieces by our youngest crafters. Cake, coffee, and the kind of conversation that runs long because nobody wants to leave.

This is what “more than just coffee” looks like.

So here’s your Monday invitation: come grab your usual (or try something new), find a cozy chair, and see what’s happening this week. Whatever brings you in (coffee, a craft, game night, or a chapter of a good book), you belong here.

Oh what a beautiful morning! Our shop is looking sweet and ready to pour you all some coffee, sell you a book or a hobby! Maybe a little craft bar activity or lunch.

At 10:30 we have Scribbles with Ella! She’s very excited that she’ll be guiding you through a drawing lesson. You’ll also be making these adorable pipe cleaner crafts. This is a free event for all ages so come on in.

We have Aurora RPG at 1 pm. They are currently playing.Traveller. If you have ever been interested in playing a tabletop role-play game or just curious or you are a veteran at RPG and you wanna come to the session today All are welcome. No experience necessary. Kris and the crew will help you write a character and get your right into the session.

We are here until four today. Penny baked up some incredible caramel chocolate pecan scones and confetti cake bread. Maile‘s mom Karen made pumpkin cheesecake and white chocolate espresso cheesecake.

So come in for a cup of coffee, stay for a little chat and maybe leave with a book! Happy Saturday!

Good morning!! 😃

John (bless his ♥️) is in hanging new art for us! Our awesome Men’s Bible Study is in too. Lisa & Maile are counting their blessings this morning as they take a minute to just enjoy the shop and their dreams in real time.

It’s Friday. We’re here until 8 pm!

Things to note:
•Farmer’s Weekly Community Coffee 7:30-10:30ish $2
•White Chicken Chili is on at 11 am until gone. You absolutely can call in to reserve your bowl. 402.694.3214
•5:30 Mahjong -all players welcome, no matter your experience level
•5:30 Friday Night Murder Club-all welcome. Murder, solutions and shenanigans
•6-8 game night- come play games and enjoy community

Good morning! Lisa & Maile are kicking off 1 month of being OFFICIALLY OPEN with Cafe Bon Bons and Boeder (bay-der) Toast!

What is Boeder Toast? Let us share 😀

In a the far away land of Wisconsin is the little village of Luxemburg. A few miles out of town is a farm know as the Zoo on the Hill. Many, many years ago, Maile visited John for the first time. She was treated to a hearty breakfast after chores made by Grandpa 💙 It was there she was introduced to this humble dish: toast with butter, jam and sharp cheddar cheese alongside farm fresh eggs and bacon. At first, she was quite skeptical, but soon learned it was delightful.

Whenever she visited the Zoo on the Hill or the Boeder family, she was often treated to this delicious dish. She’s been know for eat it when John and her were dating and she missed him. Ahhh.

When John and Maile bring friends home, they share this family gem with them. This includes Lisa! John’s dad, Wally, made it for them every morning of their visit this past July.

When Lisa & Maile decided to put “Toasts” on the menu at Espressions, Boeder Toast was a must! It’s perfect since John is also the baker behind the sourdough we have baked JUST for our toast.

We hope you decided to visit us and enjoy some Boeder toast or one of other delicious menu items!

We are here until 4 today. As promised, we’re making white chicken chili. Come see us!

Happy Wednesday! We’re kicking it off with Cafe Bon Bons and our Midnight on the Water playlist. We have lots of new books, delicious coffee, and of course, great food! We’re here until 2 pm today! Come see us.

Ps: our soup today is chicken pot pie. It is gluten-free. It will be available in our retail fridge as it’s supposed to be summer out today and so if you want soup, grab it from there and it could be warmed up at your office, home or here!
