With a passion for baking that developed at a very young age, Grammy T takes great pride in making sweet treats that get families around tables to make special memories. Terri Jackson, the second of four daughters of Bill and Topsy Jones, developed a love of baking early in her life. Terri grew up on Heath Drive, now green space for the Augusta National, during a time when neighbor families gather
ed around tables full of bounties of goodness, creating lifelong memories. Terri spent many hours in the kitchen with her mother, as they shared their love of baking. Growing up, Terri remembers how much her Daddy appreciated a good dessert and there was usually one served with every meal. Kenneth and his wife Catie have seven beautiful children, Cass, Martha Grace, Liam, Tessa, John, Matthew, and Gettys. Jennifer and her husband Jon have 3 children, Jackson, William, and Rese. Needless to say, all ten grandchildren LOVE Sweet Grammy T's treats! Grammy T’s baking was usually done on the weekends and evenings, but now it is done most every day of the week after retiring from her real job of 35 years at Summerville Women's Medical Group in Augusta. It's also not unusual for Grammy T to wake up in the middle of the night, unable to go back to sleep, and go to the kitchen to bake. Some of Grammy T's cakes and sweets will be old family favorites, but she's always open to trying new recipes.
