POV: I came out of macaron retirement for a little bit.

It’s been a while since I’ve piped macarons. After an old hand injury that never fully recovered, I stepped away because it just wasn’t the same. But every now and then, a special occasion makes me miss creating these little beauties.

These were made for a beautiful bridal shower, and it reminded me just how much I love the process even if my hand doesn’t always agree.

Made the viral Bánh Ít Ram and now I understand the hype. It was a lot of components into one bite but I love the combo texture. Crispy, chewy, savory, and everything I love about Vietnamese comfort food in one bite.
