Black Coffee at the cutting edge.

This past week, The Black Coffee Company was proud to be part of MODEX 2026, one of the most innovative supply chain and logistics conferences in the world, right here at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

Our coffee cart was featured throughout the conference, bringing good energy and great coffee to some of the brightest minds in global technology. And we were especially honored to have a special spotlight inside the Ocado Intelligent Automation booth.

Ocado is not just a company. They are a movement. Over 20 years of building the world’s most advanced fulfillment and logistics solutions, and they chose to share their space with us. That means something.

When cutting edge technology companies from around the globe gather in one room, Black Coffee is there to fuel the conversation.

This is what it looks like when community meets innovation. We are just getting started.

Thank you to the entire Ocado Intelligent Automation team for the love and partnership.

The best investments we make are in people.
Bethune-Cookman University has been a beacon of service and scholarship since 1904. An HBCU rooted in purpose, planted in Daytona Beach, and producing leaders who show up for their communities. That is exactly the kind of mission Black Coffee was built to stand behind.

We were proud to fuel B-CU’s Day of Service as students poured into the Daytona Beach community with everything they had. Good energy, good people, and coffee to match the moment.

Shoutout to Dr. Albert Mosley, B-CU’s 8th President, for leading with vision and keeping the standard high. That kind of leadership inspires everyone in the room.

This is what collective economics looks like in action. We support the institutions that support us.

To every Wildcat out there serving, we see you. Keep going.

Happy 44th Birthday to our Brother, Dr. Leonard Lightfoot! 🎉♓️

I’ve known this man since we were 15 years old, and I can honestly say he is one of the most outstanding Brothers I’ve ever had the chance to know. His dedication to his family, his education, his professionalism, and his work as CFO of The Black Coffee Company has been excellence defined.

As we continue to grow on this journey together, I’m proud to have a partner I can stand next to, learn from, and grow with. The way he leads his family, supports his children, listens to his wife, and shows up with wisdom, grace, and consistency deserves nothing but applause.

Join me in celebrating our dear brother during Pisces season. Happy 44th Birthday, Leonard. Your Belizean brother is celebrating you today and always. 🇧🇿☕️✊🏿

It’s rare that you get to witness up close and in person a real civil rights hero, social justice icon, servant leader, and American legend. Dr. Norman C. Francis was all of that and so much more.

As young students at Xavier University of Louisiana, we were blessed with the opportunity to learn from this man and watch how he impacted our world with grace, dignity, and intelligence. He shaped so much of how we move through the world today.

Our entire family and community mourns his loss, but we celebrate his incredible legacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with his children, his family, and our entire Xavier University community but we know there were so many more lives touched and transformed by his presence.

Thank you, Dr. Norman C. Francis, our forever President. You have earned your eternal rest, and we pray that we continue to make you proud.

Come see us today family February 7th!!

☕️✨ Faherty x Black Coffee Company ✨☕️

Some partnerships aren’t planned, they’re divinely aligned.

Black Coffee Company and Faherty are back together for an in-store pop-up at the Faherty location in Fairfax, VA, growing a divine partnership rooted in shared purpose and values of authenticity, quality, community impact, and good vibes!

Together, we believe in building experiences that feel good, do good, and last. Whether it’s through thoughtfully made apparel or intentionally sourced coffee.

Xavier University of Louisiana mourns the sudden passing of Father Victor Laroche, O.P., University Chaplain and Special Assistant to the President for Catholic Identity, a beloved pastoral presence whose ministry profoundly shaped the spiritual life of campus.

During this difficult time, we encourage all members of the Xavier community to seek support and care in ways that feel most helpful to you. Students may access Counseling & Psychiatric Services (CAPS) for individual counseling sessions, crisis walk-in appointments, and phone wellness checks related to grief and loss at St. Joseph’s Academic & Health Resource Center, Suite 202 (Second Floor) or by calling (504) 520-7315. Faculty and staff may access confidential counseling and support through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at 1-888-887-4114. For those who would find comfort in spiritual care, reflection, or prayer, Campus Ministry / Spiritual Life is also available; please contact Rev. Dr. Mitchell Stevens at [email protected] or Father Peter Damian Harris at [email protected]. You do not have to carry this alone—support is here for you.

We will share additional information regarding funeral arrangements and memorial services as soon as it becomes available. In the meantime, please keep Father Victor, his Dominican brothers, and all who loved him in your prayers.

From serving coffee to serving legacy. 💼☕

Standing in the 2025 HOPE Global Forum representing The Black Coffee Company is a full-circle moment when you remember where we started. Our team isn’t just pouring beverages. We’re building relationships with business owners, bankers, media personalities, and corporate executives from around the world who now know our name and believe in our mission.

This moment exists because Operation HOPE believed in our vision first. That investment didn’t just change our balance sheet. It powered us past $1 million in revenue, a milestone that separates dreamers from builders. We’re proof that when community invests in community, generational wealth isn’t just possible. It’s inevitable.

Thank you Chairman John Hope Bryant, Lance Triggs, Brian Betts, and the entire Operation HOPE family for seeing what we were building before the world did. Special salute to Nicky Sparrow, the real MVP creating opportunities that change lives.
To The Black Coffee Company team: this is for every single person who showed up today. From our crew working hard here at the conference to our team at Lakewood headquarters, our baristas serving Morehouse College students, our squad holding it down at Grady Memorial Hospital, and our behind-the-scenes champions handling scheduling and HR. You pushed through every obstacle and gave everything to hit these goals. This is OUR story.

Future proofing. That’s what we’re doing. Building something so solid that generations after us can climb even higher.
Small business owners supporting small business isn’t just a movement. It’s how empires are built. Let’s keep climbing. 🏆

Hope y’all are enjoying some real downtime with your family and loved ones this Thanksgiving. 🦃🖤

Today we are especially grateful for our dear manager and Team Development Manager, Captain Jack (Jackie Burton). In this clip she talks about how SpelHouse Homecoming is a beautiful full circle moment for us. The Black Coffee Company was founded by HBCU graduates, and now our second location lives right here on the campus of Morehouse College in the heart of the AUC.

Over this past year on campus, the impact has been tremendous. From working side by side with our amazing student leaders, helping them grow new skills and develop real career pathways, to serving up the delicious coffee that fuels their late nights and academic pursuits. We are also proud to support the faculty, staff, and administration who pour so much into building this incredible institution.

Grateful for HBCU excellence, for community, and for the chance to serve this village every single day. ☕️🎓🖤
