💍 Wedding Catering Tips 🍽️✨
️⃣ Don’t try to please everyone when making menu selections; however, you don’t want to create a menu that is off the grid. Don’t worry about Aunt Beth that doesn’t eat fish or Uncle Jim that is a vegetarian. 🍗🥗
️⃣ A separate buffet for children is not necessary. 👧 It becomes chaos. Adults will eat off children’s buffet and children will eat off adult’s buffet. Guests don’t understand the scenario. If little Johnny spots a baked potato on the adult buffet, he will cry because he can’t have one. We suggest a boxed lunch for children. 📦 Check with your caterer.
️⃣ Request an all-inclusive catering quote. 📋 This should include a social hour, appetizers, dinner menu, plates, flatware, napkins, buffet tables/buffet linens, staff/event manager, set-up/clean-up, beverages, ice, etc. 🍽️
️⃣ Don’t select a caterer that forces gratuity. 💵 Caterers are not restaurants. A legit catering company pays their staff a fair wage and shouldn’t rely on gratuity to pay their staff. 🤝
